Share and Trade Recipes

I love to try out new recipes! In fact, I would much rather try out a new recipe than make something I already know how to cook. Maybe it's the mystery, the adventure, or just the sense of trying something new. But whatever the reason is, I love it! It doesn't always turn out quite like I think it should (especially that artichoke-marinated chicken) but for me that's part of the adventure; when it does turn out great, it's all the more rewarding.

But where to find new recipes? The most obvious places are cookbooks - and I have a few of them. My favorites are the old ones that have been given to me by members of my family, but I like some new ones with more modern fare, too.

Probably what I enjoy most of all, though, is sharing recipes and ideas online at sites like Casual Cooks - it's a forum of people who just love to cook! I go there to share stories, ask questions, get advice, and find new and interesting recipes.
